PST-507 is a medium-bodied, dielectric silicone lubricating compound that’s designed for applications where contacting surfaces are not under heavy load. This medium-bodied silicone grease is comparable to Dow Corning 7 dielectric silicone release mold compound (DC-7) and to Novagard G623 silicone dielectric grease.
PST-507 has an unworked penetration with a typical value of 275. This silicone lubricating compound is non-corrosive and water repellent, low in volatility, and meets the requirement for FDA Regulation 21 CFR 175.300. This silicone lubricating grease does not separate and has excellent stability and dispersion characteristics.
PST-507 silicone grease is used as an electrical insulator, corrosion inhibitor, water repellent, mold release, or lubricant for metal, rubber, or plastic parts. Applications include:
PST-507 is also used as a lubricant with vacuum and pressure systems, automotive ignitions, and home appliances.
PST-507 silicone lubricating grease is supplied in drums, plastic pails, jars, cartridges, and tubes. Private labeling and custom packaging are available to meet special requirements. Contact PolySi Technologies for more information.
